How One United Missions International collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.
One United Missions International, Inc. · EIN 41-3196396 · Navarre, Florida
One United Missions International, Inc. (“One UMI,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Florida, EIN 41-3196396. This statement explains what we collect when you use oneumi.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What We Collect The information you choose to give us — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address; the messages you send us through our forms; your trip and volunteer application details; the name, email, and designation you provide when you give, sponsor, or fund a need; the name and email on your member portal account; and the prayer requests, testimonies, messages, and photos you send us.
Trip and Volunteer Documents Passports, vaccination records, medical forms, a liability waiver, flight details, and background check results are used only to confirm eligibility, plan safe travel, and meet legal and host-country requirements, and are seen only by the staff and trip leaders who need them. Medical and background information is never used for marketing and is not shared with other participants.
How We Use It To answer your questions, review applications, process gifts and issue receipts, keep our teams and supporters informed, send you the updates you asked for, run and improve our programs, and meet our legal, tax, safety, and insurance obligations. We send email only where you asked for it or where it relates directly to something you are taking part in, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
When We Share It We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate, with the staff, trip leaders, and local host partners who plan and run a trip safely, and where the law requires it. Gifts and trip payments are processed on the provider's own secure checkout pages — we never receive or store your full card number.
Children and Minors Our public site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. A minor takes part in a trip or program only through a parent or legal guardian, who provides and manages the minor's information and consent. Our commitments for the protection of children and vulnerable adults are set out in our Child Protection policy.
Keeping It Safe We keep personal information only as long as we need it and as long as the law requires, then delete or anonymize it, protected by access controls and secure connections. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
Questions about this statement, or a request about your own information, can be sent to info@oneumi.org and we will respond.
