Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of this site, your gifts, and your participation in One UMI mission trips.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

01

Acceptance of These Terms

These terms govern your use of oneumi.org and the forms, portals, and giving tools on it (“the site”). By using the site, making a gift, applying for a mission trip, or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms are between you and One United Missions International, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the State of Florida, EIN 41-3196396.

02

Using the Site

Please use the site lawfully and honestly. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the site or to another person’s account; do not upload or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or misleading; and do not impersonate another person or organization.

We may suspend or remove an account or submission that misuses the site, and we may take reasonable technical measures — including limiting automated traffic — to keep it available for everyone.

03

Donations

Gifts to One UMI are voluntary and, to the extent allowed by law, tax-deductible. You receive no goods or services in return for a donation.

We honor your designation wherever possible. If a designated need is already fully funded or cannot be carried out, we apply the gift to the closest similar work and report it that way in our financial totals.

Donations are generally non-refundable, since they are put to work in the field. If a charge was duplicated or made in error, contact us and we will correct it.

Recurring gifts and monthly sponsorships can be changed or cancelled at any time by contacting us, and cancellation stops all future charges.

04

Mission Trips and Applications

Submitting a trip application does not reserve a place on a team. Applications are reviewed by our trip leadership, and participants are accepted at our discretion.

Accepted participants are responsible for the published trip cost (international airfare, passports, personal spending money, and immunizations are not included), for completing all pre-trip requirements, for holding valid travel documents and their own travel insurance, and for following the team code of conduct and the laws of the host country.

Trip dates, itineraries, and costs may change, and a trip may be postponed or cancelled if conditions — including safety, weather, travel advisories, or participation levels — require it. In that case we will contact participants with the options available.

We may remove a participant from a trip whose conduct, health, or readiness puts the team, our hosts, or the communities we serve at risk.

05

Participant Fundraising Pages

Participants who fundraise for a trip must describe the trip and the organization accurately, may not promise anything we do not offer, and may not use the One UMI name for any other purpose.

Gifts made through a participant’s page are donations to One UMI. They are not loans to the participant, they are not payable to the participant in cash, and they are used for the mission work described on the page.

06

Sponsorship

Monthly sponsorship of a student or patient continues until you cancel it. Funds support the sponsored person’s program as described when you gave — education for a student, and care for a patient.

If a sponsored person leaves the program, we will tell you and, unless you ask us otherwise, apply your support to another person or to the same program so the work continues.

07

Content You Share

Prayer requests, testimonies, team messages, and photos you submit remain yours. By submitting them you give us permission to edit, display, and share them so we can tell the story of the mission — on our site, in emails, and on our social channels.

Only send content you have the right to share, and do not include another person’s private, medical, or identifying information without their permission. We review submissions before publishing and may edit, decline, or remove any content that is inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with our mission.

08

Payments and Other Sites

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider on its own pages and are subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. We never store your full card number.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements. Please review the terms and privacy practices of any site you visit.

09

Intellectual Property

The text, images, logos, and design of this site belong to One UMI or are used with permission from their owners. You are welcome to share our content to promote the mission, but you may not use it commercially or in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

10

Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

The site is provided as it is, and the information on it — including trip dates, costs, availability, field needs, and impact figures — may change as our work develops.

To the extent the law allows, One UMI is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount of your gift.

11

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

12

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as our work grows; the revision date will always appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
